UK loosens sanctions on Russian fuel

The UK government has watered-down sanctions on Russian diesel and jet fuel amid the ongoing energy crisis. Miliband is closing down our refineries and banning new North Sea licences so we can fund Putin’s war machine. RUSI estimates the policy will gift Putin £1bn in additional revenues.

Miliband u-turns on slave labour ban

The UK has backtracked on a pledge, eshrined in law, to ban slave labour from its renewable supply chain to meet Ed Miliband’s Net Zero goals. The energy department has introduced a new caveat to say that it will only ensure solar panels are free from forced labour ‘as far as possible’.

CCC demands UK must spend £11bn pa on adaptation

Britain must spend £11billion every year to "prepare for the impacts of climate change", the Government's advisory body has said. In a rallying cry to make the country open its wallets and protect against global warning, the Climate Change Committee has claimed the "British way of life" is under threat.

Ryanair plans for Armageddon situation on fuel shortage

Ryanair is preparing for an “Armageddon situation” over fears that the Iran war could trigger a global shortage of jet fuel. “I think we will see some of the weaker carriers who were already struggling before the war possibly go to the wall in the winter,” warned the airline's CFO.

IEA warns stockpiles are depleting very fast

The world’s oil stockpiles are “depleting very fast”, the head of the International ‌Energy Agency has warned, as supplies from the Middle East remain blocked by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. He said there were only a few weeks left of stored supplies.

Europe’s offshore wind is vulnerable to attack

Possible sabotage, drone overflights and mapping by submarines: the North Sea and its offshore wind farms are vulnerable to hybrid warfare.
